The iSchools and the Digital Humanties web site offers up several tools to enhance communication, networking and sharing.
The iDH Network (http://www.ischooldh.org/network ) is a social networking application social networking space for interns and other interested faculty and students. It is a great place to connect with others; create groups around special interests; and share and find resources, events, and news items. The iDH network shares many of the same features as popular social networking places like Facebook and Myspace, but is dedicated to serving the needs of students and faculty members. Sign up for an account and get started making connections. You will find easy to follow help sections if you have problems, but don’t hesitate to ask others in the network about things you can do.
The iDH wiki (http://www.ischooldh.org/network/mw) is a great place to build and share resources. Based on the same wiki engine as Wikipedia, the IDH wiki offers students and facuulty members both an easy way to find information that they need, but an easy way to share, build, and create resources.
